Affiliate marketing is making money online, with other peoples products. It is done through the promotion of products of other companies for a commission on each sale one generates.

The principals call companies and people promoting products in this way "partners," "associates" or "affiliates." These do the promotion through websites or email lists. But there is no restriction. You will have to be careful that you don't fall into the trap of having to pay a hefty up-front fee for some of the products they want you to sell. Expressions such as

• joining a "lifestyle offering a life of international travel,"
• "working only when you want."
• "creating a life of self-confidence and genuine happiness."
• 'finding relationships with people you care about" or "whose values you share!"
• "waking up to your potential and fully using it"

And similar phrases of inducements that make you feel you will become a member of an exclusive club of highly paid professionals almost without effort.
